McDonald’s Corporation is one of the biggest and most famous companies. It is well-known for its hamburgers, French fries, and famous sandwiches. Some popular ones are the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, and Egg McMuffin. Children are not left out, either. The company made the Happy Meal for children, which is quite popular among them.
McDonald’s: A Fast-Growing Company
Headquartered in Chicago, McDonald’s is one of the most successful brands ever. It started as a simple drive-in restaurant in the 1940s and has undergone many changes since then.
McDonald’s grew both in the United States and every other place around the world. In 1967, they opened their first restaurant outside the U.S. in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. In the 1990s, McDonald’s expanded so quickly that a new restaurant opened in the world every five hours. By the early 2000s, the fast-food chain had around 34,000 locations in more than 115 countries and regions.
Expanding Beyond the United States
In the late 20th century, McDonald’s expanded beyond selling hamburgers by buying several other restaurant chains. 1998, it acquired Chipotle Mexican Grill, followed by Donatos Pizza in 1999. It also acquired Boston Market in 2000, all in the United States.
They expanded in the United States and acquired restaurants in the United Kingdom. McDonald’s purchased Aroma Cafe in 1999 and became interested in Pret a Manger, a sandwich restaurant chain, in 2001. However, by late 2008, McDonald’s had sold all of these businesses and chose to focus solely on its own brand.
McDonald’s: A Growing Fast-food Chain
McDonald’s became the favorite family restaurant. They achieved this feat by focusing on providing affordable meals, a fun atmosphere, and flavors that both kids and adults could enjoy. As time passed, McDonald’s added more items to its existing menu and adapted it to match different countries’ local tastes and customs.
In 1965, McDonald’s introduced the Filet-O-Fish sandwich. It was followed by the Quarter Pounder in 1973. The Egg McMuffin was added in 1975, and by 1977, McDonald’s offered a full breakfast menu. 1979 the famous Happy Meal for Kids was introduced, and in 1983, Chicken McNuggets were added to the menu. The company introduced new ideas and reached significant achievements, but not without facing some controversies along the way.

McDonald’s History of Memorable Desserts
Throughout the years, McDonald’s has introduced some of the most memorable desserts. They created treats that became iconic. Each treat had its own unique twist. One of their most famous desserts is their version of the Apple Pie. After it was launched, the pie quickly became a beloved classic, setting a high standard for the dessert menu. Over time, they experimented with their Apple Pie recipe, and from it, they introduced several new flavors, some of which are making a comeback on their menu.
McDonald’s is creating a buzz this month by bringing back one of their famous desserts. They are bringing back their popular Cookies and Crème Pie for a short time! This pie first came out last year and got many reviews. It’s like an Oreo cookie in pie form, with a chocolate cookie crumb crust and a light, creamy vanilla filling.
McDonald’s Cookies and Crème Pies
The Cookies and Crème Pie was one of the best new items at McDonald’s. Many customers really enjoyed it. A lot of them liked to have it with McDonald’s ice cream. Many customers likened it to a McFlurry with fudge on top. It was a great addition to McDonald’s menu of pies.
However, the comeback of this desert is bringing a different type of response from consumers. Although McDonald’s is bringing back one of these special pie flavors for a limited time, it isn’t very popular with everyone.
Reintroduction
According to an Instagram post by the food blogger Snackolator on Tuesday, July 9, McDonald’s Cookies and Crème Pie will soon be available again. The food blogger commented, “Just like when it was first released, this pie is only available for a short time. It is already being sold in some areas.”
The food blogger also shared their thoughts on the menu item. They said, “I tried this last year and liked it. It was even better when I added some McDonald’s ice cream. It would make a fantastic McFlurry if you mixed it in and added some fudge on top! 🤤”
Consumers Review’s
While food blogger Snackolator had great things to say about the Cookies and Cream pie, others in the comments were less impressed.
One person commented, “The Cookies and Cream Pie were really disappointing. I was so excited when they first came out. I hope they’ve made them taste better now.” Another person expressed their opinion, saying, “It tasted like a sugar-free cookies and cream Pop-Tart.”
McDonald’s Cookies and Cream Pie: Criticisms
More people commented on the food blogger’s post, and many of them wished for other types of flavor. One commenter added, “This was awful. I wish they would bring back the pumpkin and crème pie early, haha.”
Another person, who seems to have tried it too, agreed, saying, “This was so bad. Nothing about it tasted good. The crust was like a soggy Pop-Tart, and the filling had the texture of cottage cheese.”
McDonald’s Cookies and Cream Pie: Fans
Another customer said, “These are really bad and disappointing.” While many people didn’t like the Cookies and Crème Pie, not everyone felt the same. Some people were fans of the snack and were very positive about it.
They commented, “I don’t care what anyone says, this is amazing!” Another wrote, “I loved this last year!” Someone else said, “I’m so excited for these!” And another fan added, “I hope they become available everywhere soon!”
